Its just that we don't normally do it for the beginner levels a lot. Lately we've taken a little break from that. After you get to level 2 or 3 (and I develop the confidence in you that you can control yourself and your weapons), then you'll have more sparring time. Don't worry. I don't know about you but I think that kind of sparring would be a huge plus if added to our school. maybe even as its own class on a set day. I'll mention it to Sifu and see what he thinks.
