Class Description

1. JKD Beginner Phase - This is a fundamentals class well-suited for students with little or no prior JKD training. The class will cover all
the basics, such as the Bai Jong stance, kicking, punching, footwork, concepts, and conditioning, . Students will be introduced to Jun
Fan kickboxing, trapping, grappling, sparring, and equipment training.

JKD Advanced Phase - This is an intermediate to advanced level JKD class. This is a more challenging level of combat training. We
will focus on the Five Ways of Attack, as well as energy drills, Sil Lum Tao, one and three-inch punch, compound trapping and counter-
trapping, grappling, ground fighting, and contact sparring.

FMA Beginner Phase - This is a fundamentals class well-suited for students with little or no prior FMA training. The class will cover all
the basics, such as single stick, double stick, empty hands, single dagger, double dagger, hubud sensitivity training, and more.

FMA Advanced Phase - intermediate to advanced level FMA class. This a more challenging level of combat training. We will focus on
Carrenza, Stick and Knife Disarming, various combinations of weaponry, moving in and out of ranges, advanced sumbrada and hubud
range, Kali Silat and more.

5.
Women's Self-Defense Class (starts in May 2008) - this course will cover:
    SELF-PRESERVATION: Practical self-defense – how to win a real no-rules fight, in any situation
    SELF-PERFECTION: Attributes development – sharpening and improving your martial skills & techniques
    FITNESS CONDITIONING: Exercise and training regimen designed to make you a better martial athlete
    FUNCTIONAL KICKBOXING: All the fun and excitement of kickboxing, but with a “street functional” edge
    FUNCTIONAL JIU JITSU: Learn how to defend yourself on the ground with practical Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
