Jeet Kune Do 1: Beginner - include Jun Fan Gung Fu, Kickboxing, Western Boxing, Wing Chun, and Thai Boxing/Muay Thai

Classes are for students with little or no prior JKD training. Instruction covers:

  • Fundamentals of JKD, including Bruce Lee’s concepts and philosophy; Bai Jong stance; basic kicks and punches; footwork and mobility; distance and awareness.
  • Self-Perfection: Attributes – developing your speed, reflexes, power/strength, stamina, skills, coordination and fighting spirit.
  • Fitness and Physical Conditioning.
  • Five Ways of Attack, including Hand Immobilization Attack (HIA), known as Trapping Hands.
  • Four Ranges of Combat in JKD: Kicking, Boxing, Trapping, and Grappling ranges.
  • Three Phases of Attack in JKD: Entry, Pressure, and Termination.
  • Equipment training – How to use the Mook Jong (Wooden Dummy), Heavy Bag, Speed/Reflex Bag, Focus Mitts, Kicking Shields, Thai Pads, and various training tools.
  • Energy/Sensitivity Drills, including Chi Sao.
  • Introduction to Light-Contact and Full-Contact partner drills and live sparring.

Jeet Kune Do (JKD 2-Intermediate, 3-Advanced, 4-Apprentice Instructor)

Classes are by invitation only. Students must complete Phase 1 and receive an instructor’s approval before attending these classes.

Filipino Martial Arts 1: Beginner - include Single Stick, Double Sticks, Stick & Knife, Single Knife, and Empty Hands

Classes are for students with little or no prior FMA training. Classes cover:

  • Introduction to the 12 Areas of the LaCoste Inosanto Kali system
  • Fundamentals of Kali, including “De-Fanging the Snake,” Angulation, Triangle Footwork, Zoning, and Angles of Attack.
  • Three Ranges of Combat in Kali: Largo Mano, Sumbrada, and Corto/Hubud.
  • Abecedario and Sumbrada Training Method.
  • Basic Kali Strikes, including the Witik Abaniko, Figure 8’s, Redondo, San Miguel, Tres Personas and Krusada.
  • Sinawali (Double Sticks) Drills.
  • Knife Defense.
  • Energy/Sensitivity Drills, including Hubud.
  • Introduction to Light-Contact and Full-Contact partner drills and live sparring.

Filipino Martial Arts (FMA 2-Intermediate, 3-Advanced, 4-Apprentice Instructor)

Classes are by invitation only. Students must complete Phase 1 and receive an instructor’s approval before attending these classes.

Junior Dragons (Ages 6-12)

  • Modified version of our JKD and FMA adult programs, designed for younger students.
  • Primary objective is Self-Preservation: how to defend against a real bully or attacker. This is not for sport or competition.
  • Will develop self-confidence, self-esteem, respect, focus, discipline and a positive attitude.
  • Includes fitness and physical conditioning exercises, such as jump rope, push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and calisthenics.
  • Learn the history behind JKD and FMA.
Our training facility is fully air-conditioned.

Membership Rates

Teen & Adult Group Classes

Monthly rates range from $120 to $180.

Junior Dragons (Ages 6-12)

Monthly rates range from $120 to $140.

Sibling and Family packages available.

Private Lessons

$140 for two 1-hour lessons. $240 for four 1-hour lessons.

Drop-in's are $35 per person.

There is a one-time registration fee of $80. Each member receives a training curriculum and uniform shirt.
